Remember this from earlier this week?
It turned out to be more trick-of-the-eye than I realized when I put that picture on here.
This is what it looks like now:
And the pink thingy, in case you forgot to go back and check... is the remains of a collapsed autumn market balloon, that I found floating in the river one week after the market. The other day (this week) I happened to notice it's still there in the water, a whole month after I took the shot above. But on that occasion I was so far away from the spot that I realized it was no use trying to take another photo. (You see so much farther now that all the leaves have dropped off the trees!!!)

I've noticed this with all of our trees. You should see our lawn...at least 2-3 inches of beautiful golden Maple leaves.
