Not particularly a new or fresh resolution,
but then at my stage in life's journey
I reckon I have resolved to begin and quit
just about everything there is to begin and quit.
I actually used to teach courses on time management.
The bottom lines are:
1. You'll be surprised what you are spending your time on if you are honest with yourself.
2.One cannot literally manage time.
Time is what it is; it does not stop and wait for you to figure it out.
3. Therefore, we should endeavor to be more intentional
about how we CHOOSE to spend our time.
4. Key word is CHOOSE.
All of us are constantly making choices all day every day.
Many of them are more or less "automatic," but all of them affect what happens next.
"LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP."
Excellent choice!
ReplyDeleteI basically know that. I'm not sure it's enough to make me change, though!
