This statue is situated at a War Memorial for the sailors of the H.M.A.S Sydney in Geraldton, Western Australia. She is looking out over the town towards the sea, waiting for her man to return. He didn't.

Hi, I'm Lizzie..

....and I'm Australian, 59yrs-old, a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

I'm a quilter, reader and I love photography. I bought a Nikon D70s a few years ago and although I rarely venture past 'auto or P' (don't laugh) have a huge desire to learn more.

New Life!

I am the newbie on the block :o) ~ My name is Nancy & I live in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.

Every year, for the last 15 years, I bring in Black Swallowtail eggs, and nurture them. After hatching, they are lovingly fed lots of parsley and fennel from our garden.

Once they enter their chrysalids, I am days later rewarded with beautiful new life, which is released several hours later. I LOVE NATURE!
