My favorite summer plant, geraniums

It had been my summer tradition to plant geraniums in a pot on my deck.  Three years ago, one of my children started getting them for my Mother's Day gift.  Each time I exit my home, I smile because of these plants.

Water Theme

So Excited!

Butterflies are zooming around in my belly.  I am so excited at the idea of being a part of this group of talented photographers!  I actually was shaking as I read the e-mail inviting me.

I'm a widow and retired elementary school teacher.  I raised four children with my loving husband.  There are six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter in my family.

I joined the blogging world through a series of serendipitous events.  I look forward to each day in hopes of learning yet another tidbit that will enhance my life.
