Itty-bitty white blooms

I have no idea what this is. I'm sure it's considered a weed since it's growing quite unplanted and very abundantly! But, that's ok, I call it 'pretty' and I like it in my flowerbox.

Tiny Pumpkin

Last year a pumpkin vine sprouted in my small flower bed.
I presume birds dropped the seeds.  In 2010 I had one pumpkin make it through to fruition.  I'm hoping with the number of blossoms I have right now that I will have a bigger crop this year.

A beautiful manhole, found in a National Park near where I live.
Statue in Busan, South Korea

Strange seafood in a street market in Busan.  I really don't know what they are, and I don't think I'll ever be adventurous enough to try one.
Shell decoration in our hotel in the Philippines.

A pentagon shaped starfish!  Amazing.

Vanessa in South Korea

I'm a Texas native, but live in South Korea with my husband.  We teach lil Koreans English, at least through the end of 2011.  I love all things artsy, but unfortunately don't have the gift, or at least haven't found my niche. I love photography, but in all honesty I'm not brilliant at it; I lack the patience.  However, despite these flaws, I plan to continue taking pictures as long as the world continues to dazzles me with its brilliance.  I love traveling, reading, writing, watching movies, drinking wine with friends and everything to do with nature.  I think this blog is a brilliant idea, and I'm happy to be apart of this community.  I've been blogging since 2005, come visit me sometime at The Yellow Brick Road.

Circle

08Aug2011 124

Found at the Shelburne Museum, this wheel was used to flatten down the snow for sleighs - of a time once upon, when the horses would pull sleighs in the winter and wagons in the seasons without snow. I had never thought about the need for such a wheel, but it surely makes sense to me. Horses would pull it down the roadways.

Another town clock.

WOW! It's a Heat Wave

This happened yesterday.  Whew!  For those outside the USA, that would be 45.5 degrees Celsius.  OUCH!
